Mitch could put an end to this immediately, but he just loves appeasing the religious wacko right no matter what it costs.

"They can bring them one at a time to the floor, they have chosen not to do that. "

Weasel words from an idiot. Everything has to be a grand political theater from these idiots.

Word left out of headline, so headline corrected:
"Tuberville Says He Doesn't Know What People in Pentagon Do"
Of course, the totality of what this goober doesn't know is ... well, ginormous.

It's just like a Deplorable to go break something because they don't understand how it works.

... Senator Tommy Tuberville has dismissed as "woke propaganda" ...

Of course he dismisses it as "woke propaganda," that's because he has no other response to the observations of what he is doing to the military.

The members of Senate could do worse that give serious consideration to consigning some of its old-boys-gents-club rules and conventions to a dusty corner of the communal cabinet where they've stored their quill pens and wig powder.

Anything that weakens the military is Fine By Me.

Too much Money,too much Ego,too many --------.

The military is what will destroy us.

They are a Moloch.

@#7 ... Anything that weakens the military is Fine By Me. ...

Why does your current alias want the US to weaken itself?

... The military is what will destroy us. ...

You gave your alias away. "Us" in your context seems to be Russia.

I really had thought your current alias was better than that faux pas.

But then, what do I know....

Not much at all, obviously. I'm an American citizen living in Virginia.

The "us" you refer to is all Americans. Being harmed by militarism and the lust for more war Profits while tens of thousands Die in horrible conditions for chimeric illusions fostered by liars.

Of course.

I have a VPN that surfaces in Illinois.

What's yer point?

What's yours?

I'm not a paid troll. I'm an American freelancer giving my services away.

My thoughts are my own. I have no "handlers".

Is it so hard to believe an American can actually not be for the US military or government?

@#11 ... What's yours? ...

Deflecting away from a question. Interesting.

... I'm not a paid troll. ...

Yeah, right.

Back when i used to run a PC bulletin board, you cannot imagine how many times I have heard that.

So, I learned to observe and decide upon the activities of an alias.

... Is it so hard to believe an American can actually not be for the US military or government? ...

Oh, I do not for a minute believe that you are not an American. This discussion is not about "you" but the alias you have here, on this most august site.

What concerns me is how your alias seems to reflect the propaganda coming out of Moscow, sometimes within hours of what I see coming out of Moscow.

A parrot.

In other words, your cover has been blown by your very comments.

You're Delusional.

You see figments of deception in comments made without any intent to mislead.

In a word, Paranoid.

My thoughts about the war in Ukraine are my own personal opinions.

I may be mistaken, I'm not deceiving.

Russia was Wrong to invade. It is terrible policy. War should always be the Last Resort.

NATO made War inevitable. They still don't see it and neither do you.

That's my opinion. Negotiations and an armistice are the best way forward.

Going for Maximum Victory will cause unacceptable consequences.

Unacceptable to humanity itself.

Not necessarily Russia's doing either.

@#13 ... You're Delusional. ...

Stated with no reference of that assertion.

... you see figments of deception in comments made without any intent to mislead. ...

Stated with no substantiation whatsoever.

... My thoughts about the war in Ukraine are my own personal opinions.

I may be mistaken, I'm not deceiving. ...

Yeah, right.

I've not said your current alias is "deceiving."

I have said that it seems to reflect the current phlegm coming out of Moscow.

So, my question becomes, why does your current alias seem to be a Moscow mouthpiece here on this most august site?

In other words...

Ya really need to try harder.

Senators won't do what needs to be done because they want to preserve for themselves the privilege that Tuberville's is invoking.

The senate is broken.

"conscience; women and children included NATO made War inevitable. They still don't see it and neither do you.

The only way that could be considered at all is if Russia had attacked NATO so Putin did the next best thing by invading Ukraine. Today you defend Russia's unprovoked attack and recommend that Ukraine just surrender their nation to a murdering dictator who kills civillians eithout any conscience. So, let's hear a realistic justification from your files full of Russian approved talking points. Oh wait, you'll just fall back on the ridiculous lie that Putin was saving Ukraine from Nazis; laughable!

#16 | Posted by danni at 2023-09-08 08:34 AM | Reply

Liar wants to pretend NATO posed a realistic threat to Russia....NATO is a powerful force set up to defend against exactly the kind of invasion Russia did in Ukraine. It has never threatened to invade Russia

Putin made war inevitable, dumbass. Go back in vacation.

Seriously, the Democrats should stage a 'vote of no confidence'
in the man. Yes, it would likely be rebuffed by the 'cult formerly
known as the GOP', but it would underscore to voters, military voters,
who is on their side, and who is not...

worth doing...

Who knew electing an ignorant, unexperienced, redneck football coach as senator would have negative consequences for the country?

It's not as if, oh say in 2016, a similar scenario had played out.

Are there any studies on whether Cruex is neurotoxic? Or is it just too many shots to the head from the old leather helmet days?

"My thoughts about the war in Ukraine are my own personal opinions."

Opinions are like butt holes.

Everyone has one.

But yours stinks to high heaven.

Also please please stop lying.

So many lies ... so little time.

Tuberville is right. Military oddly has this penchant to add more flag officers and couple that with more worthless do nothing divisive diversity equity and inclusion organizations. This while every private corporation pushes down decisions and adds span of control. We need less officers not more. Democrats specialize in incompetence and inefficiency. Joe Biden and his cabinet are proof of that. They call it "Rank Creep" as they make the military less efficient. Compare the span of control years ago with now, when it should be greater due to communications improvements.

#19. Excellent suggestion Yes we need a vote of "No Confidence" in the man - aka Biden administration.

Shrub dumped the remains of American troops who died in Iraq and Afghanistan in a landfill.
The------------------- referred to American soldiers who didn't survive battle as suckers and losers.
Tuberville is just following the GQP tradition of loathing the American soldier.

According to the article you've cited, it looks like Trump, this information in hand, just let the "problem" run wild. Thanks for your service.

If a righty says "woke," you know they're spewing complete, unmitigated horses*&^.

I've made a mental adjustment. When I hear a GOPer goober or groomer yammering about "woke" I substitute "elephant gas." Werks, every time.
