Well crap one of my co-workers is from Morocco and most of her family still lives there.

Just texted, her family is 3 hours away, they felt it but no damage and everyone is ok.

Well we could fund another endless scheming war like Biden wants or we could put money and science into forcasting actual forthcoming events like earthquakes and volcanoes or curing disease. No the trillions we put in climate change hype is not about factual and actual stuff. It is about assumed stuff and political control. But we should put money into actual weather forecasting events like the ice age. Changing weather though is not forecasting it.

But earthquake predicting is?

Pray for their families and those that are trapped and potential victims. Someday this will happen in the USA and war mongers and climate radicals will spend and waste trillions on more war instead of preventing tragedies, just as they did nothing to prevent the real tragedies in Maui or Cailfornia wild fires. Put technology to work preventing real catastrophes.

As an engineer I spent a career on risk reduction of projects and events and prevention of bad outcomes although nothing at the scope of many in high level govt should be doing. Awareness and preventing worst case scenario becomes second nature. I would wager there is not a cabinet member that prioritizes, cares or has a clue about prevention aspect.

"But earthquake predicting is?"

Good question.

Right up there with predicting where lightning is going to strikes.

How come you didn't predict the bad outcome that happened to you after you voted for Obama?

Would someone please explain O.S.H.A. to this great pretender.

You can predict WHERE lightening will strike. Set up a lightening rod in lightening prone areas and set up a camera and you can eventually capture it on film. But we cannot predict when.

We can predict where (some) earthquakes will strike and I think we are up to 20 seconds warning as to when. I think I got about 5 seconds notice in that last big one here in California.

Hey Robotson, how do you propose preventing earthquakes?

LEGALLY

"Hey Robotson, how do you propose preventing earthquakes?"

LOL ~~ Don't ask, please.

A fake engineer might suggest using a very large rubber band.
