This is another demonstration of Republicans willingness to hand Ukraine to Russia.

Best I can make out from his hypocritical and self serving statements, Tuberville is holding out for a threesome with Klobuchar and Warren.

Tuberville has insisted that the Pentagon's policy on abortion, which covers some expenses for military personnel, is illegal
If it's illegal, why not do something about it in court? What good is blocking command appointments?

Because it is not illegal.
He knows it.
He is a liar and this is the only way he can accomplish his vile agenda.
Of course Brain Freeze McConneell could put an end to it, but doesn't give a ----.
This is his legacy.

I am beginning to think they should start approving them one by one. Even though it might take forever use each one as an opportunity to slam the GOP for its traitorous behavior.
Start with the Commandant of the Marine Corps and keep reminding Americans how traitorous this is for the Republicans to keep the Marines from getting proper leadership.
Apparently Republicans just do not believe in peace transfers of power any more.

#6 Donnerboy It won't work. Republicans changed the filibister rules. It takes only one person to say no, they don't have to stand for hours and filibuster anymore to stop a bill or promote military officers or passi a nomiation for judgeships or appointed offices. It's Republicans way of getting paid for doing absolutely nothing.

They appear to be fine with the peaceful transfer of power when (and only when) it's transferred to them. Based on their statements and behavior, a transfer of power elsewhere appears to be, by its very nature, suspect and very likely illegitimate. They will never - ever - get over Obama's election and reelection.

ANYTHING THAT DERAILS THE MILITARY IS JUST FINE.
They should approve them one by one and live with the filibusters.
Democracy is supposed to be slow and messy.
I hope he continues this forever. Or at least until the next election.
The military is a black hole of waste and fraud.
Standing armies are the enemy of freedom and a peaceful way of life.

Why would that matter?

He might not win? Duh.
But if he did win, stay the course.

He's not up for re-election until 2028.

This has had no effect whatsoever on US military aid and support to Ukraine. Tuberville does not have that power, and voted for the DAA which funded Ukraine support.
