NOAA: US Sees Record Number of 'Billion-dollar' Disasters

The United States has experienced a record number of natural disasters with damage estimated at more than $1bn, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) reported, as extreme weather events increase due to climate change.

The costs will only go up, as we head towards 2050.
This is not a problem that one can simply make 'go away'.
It will take investment, it will take force of will,
and dogged determination.

And the Fossil Fuel Sector, and their lap dog the GOP,
will fight it 'tooth and nail' the whole way.

We must be more determined than they are.

This is not a problem that one can simply make 'go away'.

If we would only stop talking about it then it will go away. You know. Like systemic racism did. Poof gone! Worse case we could just have the Supreme Court just declare global climate change is all done now! Finally if all that fails we could just use them Magic Sharpies to steer the dangerous storms away from us.

#1. Democrats apparently can't think beyond their own 10 Pinnochio noses.

I said we should be spending the billions we waste on wars, housing illegals, etc actually coming up with technology that forecasts earthquakes,better forecasts weather, technology and preventive work against wild fires, and curing diseases etc. I said nothing about preventing earthquakes. Democrats even think they can change weather and climate change such as the Ice Age from thousands of years ago.

We should work on what we can possibly do. Not spending trillions on political pipe dreams from radical leftists and globalists about changing climate while killing economy.

At the pace natural disasters, fires, floods, earthquakes, and hurricanes are hitting us, it is just a matter of time until it will be national governments who are the main provider of Home Insurance policies. Private companies canceling policies like rats on a sinking ship.
