Russia is receiving a bit of what they dished out and started. Putin sure doesn't like being on the receiving end. I guess the biggest difference is the indifference in targets Russia chooses. At least Ukraine is going for military targets and not the civilian population. Now that it is starting to cost Russia it's support bases and putting military equipment out of service, you can bet we'll be hearing some more sabre rattling from Russia over the loss.

Because Zelensky is not a war criminal.

The bald midget is now a pariah in the court of public opinion. So long as he lives, he will be wanted for war crimes.

Crimea Bridge Closed After Naval Drones Target Russian Black Sea Fleet
www.newsweek.com

... Russia closed the strategic Kerch bridge that links the country to the annexed Crimea peninsula on Wednesday after Ukrainian naval drones and a cruise missile struck a shipyard in the port of Sevastopol, reportedly damaging two Russian warships that had been undergoing repairs.

The Russian Defense Ministry said Ukraine fired 10 cruise missiles overnight against the key naval base and that Russia's Black Sea Fleet was targeted by three seaborne drones. Kremlin-installed officials in Crimea said a blaze that broke out at the S. Ordzhonikidze ship repair plant injured at least 24 people. ...

Climate change. The geography says nuke subs useless there and turkey would never let them transit in anyways, and they would have to be built there.

Candidly does anyone think Russia will allow itself to lose this war with an arsenal of nukes? Thats like asking will Israel allow Iran to squash it? Nuclear armed countries will fight to the death of others and their own death if needed including creating a potential WW3.

The conniving deceptionists and war mongering neocons always look at war as a method of putting money into their own pockets. They convinced Biden to shun peace negotiations and instead build up a proxy war to get Putin, and to shovel truckloads of our money into their private pockets as SBF gave to Dems.

Some might claim the entire fictional "get Trump movement" was initiated by neocons to make Rusia and Trump targets. It was certainly not about making America or Ukraine better. No one wanted Ukraine attacked or in NATO, not even NATO leadership. We need real world peace not phony agendas to create anarchy and shut down fossil fuel.

I'll be honest, I don't give a crap about the weapons Ulrainians use to drive the war criminals from their country, All the Russians have to do is return home and they'll be fine. F____ them til they do!

Is your current alias saying that Pres Putin may go nuclear because his unprovoked invasion of a sovereign country did not go as planned?

@#19 ... The conniving deceptionists and war mongering neocons always look at war as a method of putting money into their own pockets. ...

Well, if Pres Putin had not started this unprovoked war with Ukraine, then all the issues your current alias seems to have with neocons would just disappear.

So maybe, your current alias should focus more upon convincing Pres Putin to stop his aggression?

@#19 ... No one wanted Ukraine attacked ...

Pres Putin has said that Ukraine should not exist as a separate country, that it is a part of Russia.

That is the reason behind his unprovoked attack upon Ukraine.

Yes. Yes I do. That's exactly what I think they will do. Because Russia knows exactly what will happen if they explode a nuke on Ukrainian soil. Moscow will shorty thereafter become a large glass bowl, or perhaps, a radioactive skating rink.

And Putin knows it. And that is why, aside from saber rattling, he will do nothing to escalate this war of his.

Hell, they can't even handle Ukraine! How would Russia possibly handle Nato? Answer: they couldn't...

"Yes. Yes I do. That's exactly what I think they will do. Because Russia knows exactly what will happen if they explode a nuke on Ukrainian soil. Moscow will shorty thereafter become a large glass bowl, or perhaps, a radioactive skating rink."

No. No it wouldn't.

North Korea is going to stick with Russia to the end. They are both Pariah states, so why not be Pariahs together. But if Russia were to use a nuke, that would likely be the end of the Sino-Soviet partnership, whatever that is. Ditto, the CSTO would fall apart completely. The seams are already present and growing, this would just be the end of the alliance. I think even stalwart allies such as Iran and Syria would face immense pressure to abandon their support for Russia.

And then there's the Russians. The vast majority of support for the SMO comes from older Russians who want the USSR back. That's who Putin is appealing to. Younger Russians are generally unhappy with the current situation, but they know that if they try and do something about it they're likely to get killed or imprisoned. A lot of those people who remain quiet may not if Putin brings on a risk of getting bombed by a coalition that may include countries from all over the globe.

Change Poland to Finland, and winter is no longer a concern.

I wonder if there is any talk in Finland about launching their own SMO to retake Karelia and the Hand.

Hey there is a difference from using them on civilians, as the scummy Russians do and on military targets which is what the Ukrainian army does. Yes, these are horrible weapons and stay around for years after a conflict is over but why should the Ukrainians not use the same weapons the fascist Russians have been using for a year and a half now?
