I've done thousands of live performances in theatres over a 40+ year AEA career. I can count on one hand the disrupters who had to be removed.

Vaping? Not allowed. Commenting or singing along? This is NOT TV. Recording? Literally against the law, as every live performance warns.

And she had 3 complaints by intermission, and a 4th, five minutes into the second act?!? GTFOH.

Who cares? How about the actors trying to stay in in the moment while Gun Show Barbie repeatedly tried to make the moment all about her. People like Boebert think freedom is behaving obnoxiously in public, disrupting other's ability to enjoy something they paid money to watch, or even violence.

Boebert wants wants her obnoxious flavor of "freedom" to be the law.

That's why it matters.

And I am not at all concerned about consenting adults selling sex to other consenting adults, especially when it's legal, private, behavior.
