Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Wednesday, September 13, 2023

What I admire most about President Biden is that in a polarized nation, he has governed from the center out, as he promised in his victory speech. With an unexpectedly steady hand, he passed some of the most important domestic legislation in recent decades. In foreign policy, he managed the delicate balance of helping Ukraine fight Russia without getting America itself into a war. In sum, he has been a successful and effective president. But I don't think Biden and Vice President Harris should run for reelection. It's painful to say that, given my admiration for much of what they have accomplished. But if he and Harris campaign together in 2024, I think Biden risks undoing his greatest achievement " which was stopping Trump.

Lmao... blind OP can't see the forest of approval for the single, skinny little tree of concern.

How many times in history has the incumbent party not run either of their incumbent candidates?

I have no data, but I'd bet zero.

They just want moar war. They don't care who leads.

Trump would continue the war even if he won.

He's LYING about ending it.

Maybe...... they can get Hillary to run again.

She'd be sure to start a World War.

But even if Trump wins again I think that's already Baked In.

The UNIPARTY of WAR. Will not be Denied.

We're in a unique situation in American history whereby the Head of the Executive branch of government is merely a prop.

The Democrat Party and the Globalist ----- who run it have figured out how to make this shadow-government ---- work so long as their corporate propaganda arm in the Corporate Media remain compliant.

But I hope they thought this through.

Stealing elections in broad daylight is risky business when you do it to a well-armed populace that comprise the Productive Class.

I understand that the folks who initiated and are implementing this are rapidly aging and want to see it fulfilled within the window of their mortal existence....but I fear their impatience is about to unleash something ugly.

Is this a "Fool Me Once" thing?

You will be armed patrolling the polling places come November?

Are you getting a Freedom -----?

But enough about Ronald Reagan.

Hard to believe that a MAGAt is also anti-Semitic. Next we'll hear about Jewish Nazis. Oh, wait...

But enough about Ronald Reagan.

That described dotard to a tee.

All he did was watch TV and golf. He had no policy agenda.

Congress passed a massive tax give away to the billionaires that raises the taxes on the middle class every year until 2027 because the then speaker of the house was TOLD by their owners that they had to do it or the checkbook would be closed to them.

Dotard ran on the promises of:

Forcing companies to return to the US
Putting a 35% tax on businesses that shipped jobs overseas.
Passing health care reform to make get rid of deductibles, co pays, etc and give everyone good quality health care.
Infrastructure.
Paying down the debt.

He did none of that because that was not the GQP agenda of massive tax cuts for the 1% designed to bankrupt the nation to force severe cuts or elimination of social security, medicare and medicaid.

@#7 ... You really got nothing ...

From the summary...

... In sum, he has been a successful and effective president. ...

So, Pres Biden seems to be doing well as President.

More from the cited OpEd...

... Because of their concerns about Biden's age, voters would sensibly focus on his presumptive running mate, Harris. She is less popular than Biden, with a 39.5 percent approval rating, according to polling website FiveThirtyEight.

Harris has many laudable qualities, but the simple fact is that she has failed to gain traction in the country or even within her own party.

Biden could encourage a more open vice-presidential selection process that could produce a stronger running mate. There are many good alternatives, starting with now-Mayor of Los Angeles Karen Bass, whom I wish Biden had chosen in the first place, or Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo. But breaking up the ticket would be a free-for-all that could alienate Black women, a key constituency. Biden might end up more vulnerable.
...

So, Mr Ignatius' big concern seems to be an apparent weakness of his VP Harris.

Ignatius is a known tool for the CIA. The CIA does not want this inquiry to go any further. Their fingers are all over this. They were happy to let Biden and his family get rich peddling influence around the world. But they do *NOT* want people to find out that they were involved. (Biden is too stupid to do this on his own)

The same corrupt media deep state that claimed Trump was in cahoots with Russia while treasonous Biden and radical left are in cahoots with China.

Suggestion put Democrats Biden & Harris in nursing home. Assign every Biden cabinet member to watch over them. And put armed military to defend our border from cartels

Sawdust very astute non partisan comments.Everything is about keeping the sheep clueless and the real perps masked, covered up and flush. When billions are missing such as in the Covid handouts scheme be assured the money went to cousins and partisan cronies of those in charge.
