... Judge Scott McAfee said severing the remaining 17 defendants was "a procedural and logistical inevitability," and did not rule out the possibility that "additional divisions" may be required later. ...
That's pretty much what most of the legal analysts I've seen have been saying.
My question, which I've asked before, is...
Is Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis leaning too far out over the tips of her skies with this case?

Leave it up to a vote?
Then Trump and the rest of your friends are going to prison.
The Court system is a mercy Trump and the rest don't deserve. But because the rest of us are Americans whereas you are not, the Courts they will have.

I believe the people should decide not some ideologue.
The People DID DECIDE and the Orange Cretin ginned his cult into attempting to overturn the results of that free and fair election by violent force, feeding them the Big Lie that they were cheated!
This is why he and his coup crew are in court in the first place! They're not being persecuted for their politics, they're being PROSECUTED for trying to violate the Constitution and ignore the expressed will of the People by refusing to accept the certified results of an election and respecting the peaceful transfer of power.
No one who criminally disrespects the constitutional electoral process should ever be allowed a second chance, especially when they're already promising to violate the Constitution even further - which is precisely why the post Civil War Congress codified the 14th Amendment.
Been there, done that, passed an Amendment. Traitors always believe they have the right to commit their treachery. Constitution says "No!"
