Gov DeSantis has stated he wants to do to the United States what he has done to Florida.

Well, it is the Republican Party way, to take from the rich and utilize hate against minority groups using the Southern Strategy. Worked for Reagan, for the Bush Family, and above all, it worked for Trump. To ever win DeSantis has to keep Trump's most rabid voters if he goes to jail and somehow is stopped. Will get a lot more ugly, as the coming election of 2024 threatens to beat the election of 1860 as being the worst in American democracy.

Only a very small percentage of Germans were actually Nazis.

The rest were sheep who were convinced that they were victims (though somehow still a superior race) and only Hitler could save them from the Other (Jews and Gypsies) and make Germany Great Again.

If you mean cost of living. Yes.

The state is attracting a lot of people thanks to lower costs of living.

And good weather. I'm assuming. Muggy and hurricanes seems like a lot.

But I'm in California. So earthquakes and fires are the trade off.

Regardless. I encourage the population growth.

A lot of them are ex Californians and New Yorkers who are mostly liberal.

It seems like the fascist state of Russia needs some more cannon fodder on the Ukrainian front in order to further test advanced American weapons. Let's give these POS a choice, a .45 to the head here with the express knowledge that Jews will be invited to piss on their graves, or a one-way ticket to the front with a Russian uniform a gun with no bullets, and no food, because why should they be treated better than Russian farm boys.
