Letter Suggests Pope Pius XII Knew of Gas Chambers in 1942
Newly discovered correspondence suggests that the second world war-era Pope Pius XII had detailed information from a trusted German Jesuit that up to 6,000 Jews and Poles were being gassed each day in German-occupied Poland.

By 1942 it was kind of late for the Vatican to stop fascism. Don't forget they were surrounded by fascist Italy and Mussolini would have loved for the pope to disappear.

The best that can probably be said for Pacelli is did his best to be in a position to offer up an implausible deniability defense if ever confronted with the consequences of his inactions and likely willful ignorance..

Yet they still want to make this pope a saint. I guess when they aren't busy raping children the priests have to find other ways of being monsters.

So a reasonable defense of this pope is cowardice. Got it!

All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing.
Men, women and children were choking to death on their own bodily fluids caused by the gas. Men from around the world were laying down their lives to stop this killing. The leader of the catholic church sat and cowered. Just another moral failing of a corrupt and immoral organization.

The Catholic Church has given many of us who were raised in very devout Catholic families plenty of reasons to consider ourselves recovering Ex-Catholics. I still have siblings who are practicing Catholics and so I keep my opinions about the church to myself.

So did FDR who was a huge racist President who did his best to contain blacks and Jews. He promoted keeping Jews in Germany and boxcars. Democrats are not as they claim. Read Mark Levins new book.

Read Mark Levins new book.

Why would anyone in their right mind do that?
Mark Levin is an idiot. Mark Levin thinks "we were freer before the American Revolution than we are today,"
In case you weren't aware ... Alternate Facts are not actual facts.

@#13 ... Read Mark Levins new book. ...
OpEd: In defense of Democrats and FDR's legacy (2020) thehill.com
... This column was generated by Mark Levin recently saying, on his Dec. 20 television program, to Sinologist Michael Pillsbury that "FDR was playing footsie with Hitler right up to Pearl Harbor." Levin ripples with hatred for Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Yet, FDR pulled the U.S. ambassador from Berlin after the infamous "Kristallnacht" of 1938; Hitler withdrew his ambassador just before Roosevelt evicted him. Roosevelt loaned Britain 50 destroyers to help cope with German submarines in 1940. He then persuaded Congress to pass the Lend-Lease Act " which Winston Churchill called "the most unsordid act in the history of any nation" " giving the British and Canadians anything they needed on relaxed repayment terms and with the U.S. lease of some bases in Newfoundland and the Caribbean. On Dec. 29, 1940, Roosevelt famously declared that "no combination of dictators" would prevent America from being "the great arsenal of democracy." He unilaterally extended American territorial waters from three miles to 1,800 miles, then ordered the U.S. Navy to attack German ships. When FDR and Churchill met in Newfoundland in August 1941, Roosevelt said he would "make war without declaring it" on Germany. None of this was "playing footsie" with the Nazis. To be a plausible commentator on American politics, Levin should stop defaming the entire history of the Democratic Party and cease his demonization of Roosevelt. Almost alone, FDR and Churchill bore the responsibility for saving Western civilization. There is plenty of room for controversy about the New Deal, which gets a respectable pass as economics but an almost perfect score as catastrophe-avoidance. And FDR was sincere when he told Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter, "I am the greatest friend American capitalism has ever had" -- because he saved 95 percent of the economic system that collapsed during the Great Depression. Mark Levin has piercing insight into the dangers of the present. But he should be more rigorous about America's past. ...

Yeah, your comments may want to cite someone with more credibility instead of someone your alias just happens to agree with.

This is true, if it weren't for WWII and Hitler, US eugenics would be #1 in the world.
Hell the US codified into law forced sterilization before any other country.
Under FDRs, watchful eye, the US sterilization programs were accelerated for Asians, Native Americans, African Americans, and Latinos in the US.

Hitlers style of anti-semitism involved killing millions FDR's style was complaining every time a specific "dirty jew" mayor came to his office he had a tear in his eye and a sob in his throat and every time he left he did so with a couple million for the people of his city.
Roosevelt didn't even try to prevent him from doing it again.

Let us start with one absolute fact. No one specializes in scheming, deception and corruption like the Democrat elites and their media cousins. Bill Clinton now wants to rebuild Ukraine just like he rebuilt Haiti.....where all the money goes to the Clinton Initiative and nothing to the people.
