"Just to be clear, were you listening to your lawyers' advice, or were you listening to your own instincts?" Welker asked. This led to her asking Trump if he was "calling the shots" on claiming the 2020 election was "rigged."

"Oh, sure. It was my decision," Trump said. "I listened to some people. Some people said that. Guys like [former Attorney General] Bill Barr, who was a stiff, but he wasn't there at the time. But he didn't do his job because he was afraid. You know what he was afraid of? He was afraid of being impeached. He was petrified to be impeached."

I get the feeling Kristen Welker is going to find a subway sandwich in her dressing room when she arrives for next weeks show. Courtesy of Jack Smith of course.

I don't even know what to say at this point. How much more must Trump confess to before he simply handcuffed and hauled to prison until his trial is over and he can be sent to another prison?

Swing from a rope, traitor.

Where are all of the MAGATS claiming Biden has weaponized the DOJ now? They all go silent when Trump confesses his crimes.

now his defense is stupidity?

That's what Mueller used as justification for not charging Coke Jr with conspiring with a foreign spy during the 2016 electioin.

Trump can admit his guilt as much as he can. Shout it out at rallies and interviews and they will still call it a witch hunt because they are that stupid.

"I love the poorly educated" is not something they should be proud of.

Trump is not Trump any more. His God syndrome has completely taken control.

His God syndrome has completely taken control.

Those electronic baseball cards he made of himself really went to his head.

I was thinking that since God is both omniscient and omnipotent, He can't be tried in a court of man's laws.

I'm surprised that Trump hasn't thought of that yet.

Maybe he's saving it for his insanity plea. An asylum is much more comfortable than a prison cell.

Why does Trump sound exactly like a TV mob boss?

This was always him.

This is what his life of privilege taught him. He never was held accountable for anything he did. When his brother died, he used the health insurance of his handicapped son as leverage to screw the family out of their inheritance. Bankruptcies and lawyers and daddy bailing him out of his failings. When banks would no longer bail him out, Putin was there to launder Russian mob money in NYC and FL buying up condos for oligarchs mistresses to use to give birth to US citizens. When that money was no longer enough, Deustch Bank was there with Putin standing behind them giving the orange fascist money.

Decades of bank fraud, insurance fraud, tax fraud, charities fraud, hiring illegal aliens, etc.

This chump has always been a low IQ criminal. Now that he got a taste of the power of the office, his craven desire to hold onto it at all costs combined with his zero respect for the laws lead to this.

This was the darkest day in US history since the civil war and the same asshats that supported him are threatening to do it again.

Death to traitors.

So, what happens if Der Dotard's comments are presented at trial as evidence, and some MAGA plant causes a hung jury, claiming that he/she/it doesn't believe the evidence, i.e., doesn't believe that what was said on the TeeVee was really said? If Dotard doesn't come out to refute what was broadcast, that means he agrees he really said what was broadcast, so the juror didn't follow the evidence, instead they imposed their own political beliefs when what they believed was false. Good times...

That's what Trump will be saying when he goes on his revenge binge. It wouldn't take more than a few public executions to scare the public into submission ~ terrified about who is going to be next.
