When Baton Rouge police officers detained Ternell Brown in June, they didn't take her to the district's precinct, according to a newly filed lawsuit. Instead, it alleges, the officers drove past the police station and down a side street to a row of industrial buildings ringed by steel fencing.

Want proof? Where was the rest of the department? Why weren't they putting a stop to this? Or at least speaking up?

True story when I read that headline I briefly thought the headline was about people being held at a tortilla whorehouse.

Alternate headline:

Lousiana taxpayers soon to fund millions in payments to citizens.

Remove the protection from the cops that do this and see how fast it stops.

If a regular person did this, they would be charged with kidnapping and sexual assault.

Hey I get it the police deal with some real dregs of society on a daily basis but that's not excuse to become a dreg. They can and should be held to higher standard.
