Scientists have become Sitting Ducks
Peter Hotez: In the United States, thousands of Americans needlessly perished because they refused a COVID-19 immunization during our awful Delta wave in the summer and fall of 2021 and the BA.1 Omicron wave in the winter of 2022.

Stalin didn't like science either. Ask those Jewish docs. They worked for Soros, y'know.

Analyses by myself and colleagues have found that 200,000 unvaccinated Americans died during this period. Overwhelmingly, those deaths occurred in Republican strongholds, including 40,000 in my state of Texas. A closer examination reveals that the redder the county, the lower the immunization rates and the higher the death rates.
The GQP deserves credit for killing off so many of its supporters.

The repug unvaccinated who contracted COVID-19 also contributed to the increasing cost of care and insurance premiums escalating. We admit at least one person a day that has what is commonly known as "long COVID". Although I don't know a patient's political affiliation, I'd bet the farm they are conservatives. For the conservatives to attack scientists is just about the dumbest idea they've come up with. They'd be the first to whine about a treatment for a condition that they have developed. It's the scientists who spend years on a project to see it come to fruition and help people who need a procedure, device, or medicine. But let the repugs and idiots whine. I'll just watch them suffer. Karma IS a-------.

The American economy leads the world in high tech manufacturing.
What does science have to do with high tech manufacturing?
Maybe a Republican knows.

You you admit that science, knowledge, fact and truth are all a liberal conspiracy?

There are several posters on this site bragging they have PHD's and careers in chemistry and medicine, and they cant even admit a man cant have a period.
Take your "truth" and "science" and shove it.
"Science" stopped being credible when scientists became political to keep funding flowing because otherwise they wouldnt have a job.

Only because you couldn't handle the truth.
I'll prove it: Does masking, distancing, and sanitizing lower the chances of getting/passing Covid?

Have you figured out what a woman is yet? I heard you republicans were having trouble with that.

This whole what is a woman thing is silly.
99.99% of the time they are humans with two xx chromosomes.

Typically. And in "most cases".
But not always. Which I believe is the whole point?

I'm honestly not sure if there are any women that don't have an XX chromosome.

At least you are honest about your ignorance on the subject.
Maybe talk to a geneticist.

Or maybe just use your google.
"Girls born with XY chromosomes are genetically boys but for a variety of reasons " mutations in genes that determine sexual development " the male characteristics are never expressed. They live their lives as girls and then women, and a few can even give birth. Our research, which is the first nationwide survey in the world, shows that this group is up to 50% larger than previously assumed." (That took about 5 seconds to google)

Carl Sagan warned us, 20 years ago, with is book, "The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark". He foresaw where America was headed, that forces were at work that would pull it towards a new Dark Age...
He was not wrong.

The GOP used it as a road map to dumb down their base.
They realized they offer nothing to the average american other than jingoism and fear. The only lifeline these people will have in their senior years is social security and medicare and the GOP and the billionaires are constantly trying to steal that from them. They will whoop and holler with joy when ANOTHER $100 billion is tossed into the firepit for ANOTHER aircraft carrier or when the 1% get millions in tax free PPP funds but will scream the world is ending if a poor kid is given a baloney sandwich.
The only way to keep them on the plantation is to keep them stupid.
"I love the poorly educated" is not the compliment they think it is.

You sound pretty smug about that. But they do exist.
There are 4 billion women in the world. If .01 % are XY or XXY that means 400000 women are affected. (BTW your .01 % figure was pulled out yer ass and if it was accurate and it's now 50% more then it's 800,000 women almost a million)
So what you are saying is that these 400,000/800,000 women don't exist.
That's Republican math and republican logic if I ever saw it.

"You can pretend like they're common ... "
You can pretend like I said that they are "common".
But didn't. I actually said they exist. And I gave you estimates for how many exist in the world. And there are more than you thought were.
You actually didn't even think that is was possible for a woman to have XY chromosomes. But now you do.
And know you also know that there are approximately 50% more than we first thought.
Education comes slowly to the stubborn. The religulous are particularly resistant to facts.
