Pretty damning stuff right from the horses' own bragging mouths:
24. Plaintiff [Hunter Biden] has discovered (and is continuing to discover) facts concerning Defendants' hacking activities and the damages being caused by those activities through Defendants' public statements in 2022 and 2023. During one interview, which was published on or about September 12, 2022, Defendant Costello demonstrated for a reporter precisely how Defendants had gone about illegally accessing, tampering with, manipulating and altering Plaintiff's data: "Sitting at a desk in the living room of his home in Manhasset, [Defendant Costello], who was dressed for golf, booted up his computer. How do I do this again?' he asked himself, as a login window popped up with [Plaintiff's] username . . ." By booting up and logging into an "external drive" containing Plaintiff's data and using Plaintiff's username to gain access Plaintiff's data, Defendant Costello unlawfully accessed, tampered with and manipulated Plaintiff's data in violation of federal and state law. Plaintiff is informed and believes and thereon alleges that Defendants used similar means to unlawfully access Plaintiff's data many times over many months and that their illegal hacking activities are continuing to this day.

This lawsuit should not have taken five years but I suppose it's more of a political act than a true legal concern.

Kicking Rudy while he's down. Don't do so unless you are wearing steel-toed boots...

Ironic thing about this is that Rudy likely made it so any data from Hunter's laptop cannot be used as reliable evidence in court should any charges be brought against Hunter in relationship to that data. The defense can claim it was tampered with.

I was wondering when this might come up. Hacking is illegal. Sounds like it was done to the laptop by non-government folks. I know the claim will be but he left it at a repair shop too long and ownership moved to the shop. Not sure that actually changes the law...
There are some Federal Laws that may be in play: - The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) - The Stored Communications Act (SCA) (More about data centers than PCs) - The Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA)
There are also state laws likely broken.

What is it with the Biden children leaving their personal information laying around for anyone to access?

You mean laying around for people to steal and hack illegally?
I would say its better than leaving classified information laying around in bathrooms.

#6 if the ownership changed, I am not so sure the data didn't as well.
It would be reasonable the data is not separate from the device.
This is why you should wipe your devices when you donate them.

Are Democrats oddly as proud of Hunter "cocaine/porn" Biden as they are of Sen Robert "Gold Bar" Menendez? Hint: Dems need to be ashamed. Instead of suing Giulliani start being concerned with general party ethics and competence. NYC needs to hire Rudy back to clear the streets of criminal trash that Democrat mayors put in place.
The Democrat judge that is going after Trump about supposedly over valuing his property needs to get back to real world instead of crooked politics. Property holders don't ever get to valuate their own property. Appraisers, banks, lenders and tax collectors do. Where is this judge from?

So the laptop is real now in your world? And the diary?
Taking up for a guy with (felony) federal weapons charges doesn't look good on you. Hunter is looking at 15-25 years, so he better hurry up if he wants to sue anyone.

You don't have a clue. Banks use appraisers when financing a property directly, but they still rely on financial statements prepared by third parties to get their arms around a customer's bigger financial picture. Those statements are supposed to be prepared in accordance with GAAP principles which gives lenders assurance that some baseline standards of reliability are being met. If the Trump organization deliberately misleads its accountants into preparing inaccurate financial statements for purpose of influencing a lender, that is called fraud. Suck it up loser.

LOL. In your dreams. For possessing an unloaded gun for 2 weeks? He probably wouldn't get 25 years if he shot someone with it.

You don't have a clue.
Truer words have never been written on this blog. Rinse and repeat everytime Robson vomits one of his projective, gaslighting posts.

How do you think taking up for a guy who attempted to overthrow democracy looks on you?

Collusion is not a crime!
Paying hush money to porn stars is not a crime!
Quid pro quos are not a crime!
Coups are not a crime!
Now - lying on financial forms is not a crime!
-party of law and order. Eliminating one law at a time simply because their cult leader breaks them.

The sad thing for Rooty-Tooty is that he is liable for EVERYTHING that people are suing him for. And the man has no money to hire the army of attorneys he would need to put up a fight.

Why on earth would you think that?
Do you really believe he did something that deserves 15-20 years in prison?
It's not like he tried to overthrow an election or attack the US capital.

Wow, you been playing ostrich the last 20+ years or who? Republicans certainly need some shame. You want me to quickly list what they have done in the last couple years? 5 years? Let's just throw out trafficking teens for sex across state lines for starters.
Just a little reminder, Hunter Biden is a private citizen.

Is the problem your current alias describes that the information was "laying around" or those may have inappropriately accessed that information?

You want to put Rudy Colludy, one of 19 co conspirators charged with fraud forgery and conspiracy, in charge of NYC?
How will he do that from prison?
