You'd think those stupid Pampas-Spics would learn to vote according to their own economic self-interest.
Misinformation on the internet has apparently brainwashed them into thinking a future of wind turbines, insect protein, and social Equity isn't the direction they should go.

Not good at all. However I cannot blame the people of Argentina as they have been dealing with this economic turmoil for a very long time now with no end in site. Essentially the same thing led to the rise of Hitler though... And yes, perhaps ironically Argentina is indeed a spot many of his devotees fled to at the end of WWII.

He's the perfect Right-wing nutjob.
He wants to end all sex education and abortion. He wants to get rid of the department of Education and the department of Health. He wants to gut labor protections. He wants women back in the kitchen and gay people back in the closet. He doesn't believe in climate change.
And he wants to take the entire economy off the peso and put it on the dollar while eliminating the central bank.
Basically he's an anarcho-capitalist and libertarian.
And like Trump, he's a sex crazed weirdo: "He also delved into his personal life and once presented himself as an expert in tantric sex, openly discussing how he had repeatedly participated in group sex and providing tips." Odd considering he wants to end sex education.

Mao Content wrote, "You'd think those stupid Pampas-Spics would learn to vote according to their own economic self-interest." What a racist statement.
My main concern about the Argentinians electing "el Loco" is that he will destroy what is left of Argentina's economy with his BS government. Millions of people will end up bankrupt without any help from their government. Sure get rid of public education. I've been to Argentina a couple of times and there is already tens of thousands of citizens without anyway to get ahead financially. Most cannot pay for public education but, I guess this guy thinks they can all just home school their children? He will end up getting ran out of town on a rail as their economy slips even lower with his stupid idea of getting rid of their peso for the dollar. The international bankers will not Argentina exchange that weak ass peso for a dollar. They will match it to it's worth and the Arggies must really know this? I hope they enjoyed their joy of winning the World Cup, tainted as that was by the Qatar government and FIFA, as they will rue the day they put el Loco into charge.

Tired of the term "populist" being thrown around like halloween candy, typically with respect to rightwing nutcases.
Eliminating his nation's health and education departments is not populism. Abolishing sex ed is not populism. Revoking their abortion law with no exceptions for rape is not populism. Privatizing the YPF is not populism.
This guy appealed to people who want to generically throw a wrench into the system, but his actual stances on issue's couldn't be further from populist.

As always, Argentina is always a f***** up place. There really is an underlying national identification with totalitarian rule that has been in existence since well before Juan and Evita Peron. The strange is, Argentina is one of the nations that does not seem to care whether it's totalitarians are left wing or right wing.

How young Argentines helped put a far-right libertarian into power www.vox.com
... Hernn Stuchi, a 29-year-old food delivery driver in greater Buenos Aires, grew up as a left-wing activist. During this year's presidential election in Argentina, he told Vox he would make a starkly different choice, and back Javier Milei, a far-right libertarian trumpeting socially conservative culture war issues and explosive proposals to reshape Argentine society. "It was a kind of innocence," he said in October, discussing his previous support for left-wing leaders. "It's not like us poor people ever stopped being poor." At the polls this fall, Stuchi was far from alone. Milei shocked the country when he topped Argentina's two main political forces in primary elections in August. Now, he's defeated Sergio Massa, a left-wing establishment candidate, in a runoff election. According to provisional results, he won about 55 percent of the vote. A main fount of that support is, surprisingly, young people " and young men in particular. ...

This is the wacko that cloned his dog and made 5 copies, right?
The original dog was a 200 lbs English mastiff named Conan, that he believed was his son. His closest friend. His confident. When said dog died, what'd he do? Went to see a medium so he could telepathically communicate with his said dead dog.
What did he learn in that "conversation"? His dead dog was clear that he should run for President of Argentina. Seriously. He had reason to trust his dead dog's telepathic message, though. Their relationship goes back to when soon to be El Presidente Loco was a gladiator in the Roman Colosseum where they (his dead dog) first met.
So what does one do when his pet - I mean his "son" died? He cloned him. 5 times. One of which he swears is Conan incarnate and the others he calls "grandchildren."
Way too many in this world have lost their minds.
And Mao thinks this guy is just awesome?

American democracy in a second Trump term may hinge upon the refusal of the military to carry out unlawful commands.

2024 is already a full out disinformation campaign by Republicans. Trump has, as Zed states, called for the end of the Constitution. Trump has called for imprisoning his political opponents and anyone that hurts his little feefees. Trump will be unrestrained if he gets back in office. He is Mao's "retribution." There is no thinking in him or those that vote for him. There are only misplaced feelings of lost perceived entitlement and power. Power his followers have never had and never will have. They are tools.
There is no choice in who to vote for in 2024 if you want to live in a Constitutionally moderated democratic republic.
