I wish them well in the clusterf--k of traffic for 5 miles around the site. I'm sure it made a lot of monied people happy when they dropped that stadium in the middle of Atlanta's worst traffic . . . and when they got out of Summerville.

I followed the Braves closely for about twenty years. Glavine, Smoltz, and Maddux were wild to watch. Some games took an hour and 45 minutes. One game I attended, Glavine threw 79 pitches.

But the even better years for fan enjoyment were before the Braves got good. Murphy and Horner, and getting freshly grilled burgers in the empty parking lots from the neighborhood entrepreneurs . . . . Deluxe

Buy a $4 general admission ticket, and they'd just let you walk down to the box seats. 4000 wasn't an unheard-of crowd
