Also, you may recall Democrats raising funds for MAGA House and Senate candidates so that they'd have an easier candidate to campaign against in the general. It was successful. The only thing dishonest about is saying MAGA candidates are an existential threat to this country and then spending money to help them win their primaries. Politics is a ruthless sport.

Failing at your attempts to cheat an election doesn't erase that you try to cheat elections in every way you can invent.

If the GOP is able to help fund and promote a 3rd party candidate who siphons more Dem. It's than GOP votes, that's brilliant too.
