Of note: The U.S. is already grappling with a feral swine problem. Some 9 million hogs that can carry parasites and diseases such as African swine fever have been reported in at least 35 states. ....

@#3

I'm not panicking, personally.

But wow.

From the article...

... Of note: The U.S. is already grappling with a feral swine problem. Some 9 million hogs that can carry parasites and diseases such as African swine fever have been reported in at least 35 states.

- - - These animals that were introduced to the U.S. in the 1500s cause an estimated $2.5 billion in damage to American agriculture every year, according to the Department of Agriculture.

- - - Texas has received the most feral hog reports this year (2,425), followed by Georgia (1,377), according to the University of Georgia's Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health. ...

[emphasis mine]

Oh, wow.

Will Gov Abbott start shipping those pigs to NYC?

You're telling me the Second Amendment doesn't protect us from this either?

Brook told AP the animals' population would still increase even if 65% of these animals were culled because the sows can quickly reproduce and hunters' success rate was only 2%-3%.

If there's anything humanity is good at, it's hunting animals to extinction.

C'mon people! There's free bacon in them thar hills!

Apparently when America tries to send suicide bombers in Bentleys, Canada retaliates.
Better build that wall, Vimmy.

No bacon in feral hogs. Too lean. It's like comparing a Somali pirate's build to the cast of My 500 Pound Life.

In parts of California wild boar hunting with bow and arrow is very popular. Throughout the Central and Northern hills the wild pigs are apparently everywhere.

Obviously, we're all screwed. I NEVER thought I would need an M-16 replica and NOT have one, with which I had hoped to defend my home from FERAL HOGS!!!!

Questions, questions, questions! Are any of the feral hogs gay? Are any feral hogs woke? Are any feral hogs wearing pre-ordained spiffy blue uniforms??

Do what we should be doing with the gangster swine and illegals and other criminal gang invaders like MS etc. Give them a choice of one year to self deport or put a mandatory bounty on them. Keep them out of our country, neighborhoods and homes. Cultural stability is not pretty or easy but it makes a cohesive society.

Yes. Give those Canadian swine a choice.

LOL!

We need a consultation with Alberta and the techniques they've used to successfully to keep all rats out of their province. Then we can train those folks in Montana and Minnesota and scale it up for this particular breed of ferrel pig. I mean, nothing against Saskatchewan, but really. Go to the experts.
