This dirtbag is demented and delusional. The repugs sure know how to pick them.

The exact moment I knew that Trump had a shot at the presidency was when he agreed on television that women who have abortions must be punished.

"Orange Pedo Thinks He Can Run As An Abortion Moderate"

He probably could. His cult will buy whatever he's selling, no matter how inconsistent it is with what he said or did three seconds earlier.

He lies about everything else, so why not that, too.

What was it trump said about how doctors were ripping babies out of the stomachs of mothers?

No moderate would say that crap.

The thought of this guy as an 'abortion moderate' is ridiculously delusional.

Abortion is a binary issue--either pro or anti. No compromise. For Der Dotard to be a 'moderate' he would have to compromise, and compromise from a guy who called his business schemes 'the art of the deal' and bragged about 'so much winning' is anathema. Anyone who thinks that moderation can be part of the abortion question is either a scheming right-wing phony or was born under a rock yesterday...

Has any republican since Roe successfully ran for POTUS as an abortion moderate?

follow up question.....HOW does a republican run as an abortion moderate?

Nobody wants a republican to be a moderate on this issue. Not even their opponents.

Oh, good. Another new right-wing Lewzer-defending "Democrat" poster.

REDIAL

Ignore. He thinks unborn babies come from a woman's stomach.

Wow, you are old.

Mostly they just take a pill.

"they are just powerful women"

having access to an abortion is hardly the definition of "powerful".

#16 | Posted by eberly at 2023-11-27 03:25 PM | Reply

Not having access to abortion is the definition of "powerless" eberly.

"follow up question.....HOW does a republican run as an abortion moderate?"

You'll need a time machine to make that a reality.

#20 | Posted by snoofy at 2023-11-27 04:34 PM | Reply

They'll just say he didn't take abortion away. He simply threw it back to the States.

A good con artist always tells the marks what they want to hear... and he needs swing states more than he does deep red ones, who have nowhere else to go.

@#23 ... A good con artist always tells the marks what they want to hear... ...

Yup.

Trump's stance on abortion is whatever it needs to be to please whomever he is talking to at the time.

But he understands forced birth is a vote loser, and has admitted as much privately.

And Trump needs the abortion issue to be more than a vote loser, but an election loser. That way, he can blame the forced-birth policies, not his MAGA agenda or election denials, for 6 years of poor performance by republicans in the generals.

So, yeah, I suppose you could call that a moderate stance on abortion. But, he really doesn't have another option.

Trump couldn't even win when he was in the White House. He's even more senile now.

... they all just happened to say things that help him.

"Why do you blame Trump he was'nt even in any office?"

Because he appointed several of the crooks who helped overturn Roe.
