Police were called to the elementary school, but they did not arrest The Grinch, saying that The Grinch was "lawfully on the sidewalk" and was not breaking any laws.

FTA: "It's worth noting, Santa Claus is based on a religious figure, Saint Nicholas of Myra. Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of children, lived from 270-343. He was known for giving gifts. In one case, Saint Nicholas dropped a sack of gold coins through a window so a father could pay a dowry for his three daughters instead of having to force them into prostitution."

Weird.

If you want to know what atheist activism during the holidays looks like to Christians this is what it looks like.

And yes I'm painfully aware of the irony that he claims to support Jesus while his behavior is no different than a schoolyard bully.

Here's a religious nutjob claiming one character is fake while another is real and TOR has to mention people who have nothing to do with the story. LOL!

I'm assuming the guy is a religious Nutter with no self-awareness. If you have evidence he's something else let me know.

We once had a guy on the psych floor with a similar fantasy. He thought he was a store Santa Claus and God told him to tell the kids who sat on his lap for a photo that they'd all go to hell if they didn't "ask" for religious toys. Now that's total and complete certifiable crazy.

Democrats love Handouts so much, they travelled back in time and invented Santa Claus.

Religion is a mental illness.

The academic community says quite the exact opposite. They would however agree where you to say that this weirdo acts like he has a crippling mental illness.

atheist activism during the holidays

As imaginary as the "War on Christmas". 87% of atheists celebrate Christmas as do most American Buddhists and Hindus. Some have taken to calling it "Newtonmas" since Issac Newton, unlike Jesus, was actually born on December 25th. Not in my family, though. Cookies and milk are still left out and the fire snuffed before bed so Santa doesn't get burned.
Christmas is older than Christianity. The day the sun (son) rises and its' march across the sky grows longer with every setting. Like most of your religion, Christmas was borrowed from deeper richer older traditions, commandeered and corrupted and commercialized in the name of Christ who never mentioned anything of the sort.

From where do you get the nerve to act this way towards us? You're constantly fighting shadows and blaming atheists when one of your own causes injury. Projection? Psychopathy? Or are you just a dick?

What terminology would you prefer for those who get off on attacking Christmas say with billboard saying it's all b*******?

Of course the Grinch would say Santa is a fake.

He is the Grinch! It's his job to steal Christmas.

Everybody knows that.

Geese ... some people need to get a grip.

Facts have never mattered to tor when it comes to his religious soapbox.

He sees a Christian activist doing something awful in the name of their god and uses that Christian's actions to denigrate atheists. It's pathetic.

#10 Spot fricking ON...

Tor, as usual, "shove a sock in it!"

We don't care how religious you are or
that you are trying to get your
'Holier than thou' merit badge
from whatever brainwashing church org
you belong to.

We just demand 'separation of church and state' in our country.
You can do what you want in church, that is your 'special place'.

Leave public schools, the judiciary, and now
scientists alone you evangelical ----!

Oh, almost forgot, Happy Festivus!

"Leave public schools, the judiciary, and now
scientists alone you evangelical ----!"

Unfortunately they have decided otherwise. And they gave the power to have an impact. Apparently they believe they need to save America and take it back to a time that never existed.

So if they believe that Jesus has defeated death then why are they consumed with winning in a political campaign any political campaign?

Why should Christians care that that they are losing political power on earth?

Supposedly God has the power to forgive sins and save souls!

So why do they obsess over saving America when Jesus has promised everyone who believes in Him citizenship in heaven?

Christian evangelicals have made a weird deal with the devil and thrown away Christian values in order to save Christian values. They have made a conscious decision to bring politics into the church and the church into politics. And then they proceed to complain about the backlash.

Why do we say Happy Holidays! ?

Because not everyone is a Christian in America and that is just being respectful of that fact.

Time for Christians to grow the F up.

Not gonna lie, at first glance I thought the headline read "Gingrich stands in front of school with 'Santa is Fake' sign"..... and thought "yeah that tracks".
