FTA: "The Daily Beast interviewed Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Conricus, the International Spokesperson for the Israeli Defense Forces, at his office in Tel Aviv this week."

It was pretty obvious after the first day of the Hamas attack that Gaza was going to be wiped off the map.

Beach front property along the Mediterranean will bring in a lot of tourism from Europe for Israel.

Definitely worth killing 2 million Palestinians.

Not enough clean water in occupied territory called Palestine to grow flowers.

Hamas Strategy -
Phase 1: Rape and murder 1,400 civilian men, women and children.
Phase 2: Hide behind babies and watch Gaza be wiped from existence.
Phase 3: Profit.

Rape and murder 1,400 civilian men, women and children.

Rape and murder all 1,400 of them?

That's a lot of rape.

Hopefully it comes before the murder.

Hide behind babies and watch Gaza be wiped from existence.

Like a mountain of babies? Or like a blanket?

Seems like Hamas is doing a lot with babies these days.

With so much baby rape you'd think more Catholic Priests would be signing up.

Profit

From all the dead raped babies?

The ideological framework of the zionist movement which birthed Israel in the first place is what has been guiding its political course for its entire history, and that ideology can only steer the country in one direction: towards racism, apartheid, fascism, theft, murder and genocide. America has irrevocably hitched its wagon to a rabid horse on a dead-end trail.

#10 It was supposed to be secular but it was also presumed that Palestinians would play along... or be coerced to play along.

What actually happened is the Brits divided and conquered like they always do.

As i have stated previously, there is much pent-up history in the area.

A solution for peace will not be easy.

The question that lingers in my mind still remains, though...

Israel and Saudi Arabia were in negotiations for peace between those two countries (negotiations brokered by the Biden administration).

Then, suddenly, Iran's allies (excuse me, sponsored terrorist groups) launch an assault upon Israel, apparently putting those Israel - Saudi Arabia peace negotiations on hold (at best). Hmmmm... a curious coincidence.

As I have stated previously, the Middle East is a complex place. The pot their is stirred by religion, and access to drinkable water.

Peace will not come easily.

"Hmmmm... a curious coincidence."

Especially when you consider the fact that Israel knew all about Hamas' plan for months but failed to prepare for it. Or perhaps they DID prepare for it- by preparing for its aftermath.

Was it entrapment? The Israelis knew that The Palestinians can't resist their urge to murder civilian men, women, and children?

It's like in Harold & Kumar when they poured that jar of pennies out in front of the Jew or whipped out that can of grape soda before the Black guy?

Thanks, O'Bibi-bama! If not for him, Palestinian ISIS would be marching for trans rights instead of throwing gay guys from rooftops (like they have been for the last 20 years).

Are you defending Israeli malfeasance?

If Israel had acted on the information they had, those 1,400 people you pretend to be so concerned about wouldn't have been raped and murdered

Apparently you don't actually care about them.

Reposting as my summary was changed and the original quote was deleted: "As fighting erupts in Gaza again, a top Israeli official stated that "the same fate" awaits almost the entire enclave as the decimated north. 'This idea that people are fantasizing about, that we are going to stop the fighting and that we are going to allow Hamas to continue governing Gaza is not going to happen. [...] To do so, would be allowing "a sword of terror to hang over the throats of Israeli civilians.'"

#10 What year was Israel "birthed" by the Zionist movement? Is that as far back as your historical knowledge of the Levant extends? Jump back another 3000 years and see what you find.

The existence of Israel has been documented for 3000 years. Jews were in Israel 2000 years before the "birth" of Islam.

Yeah, based upon your prior comments should we believe that your current alias has a history in Illinois?

My guess would be that the history is more based somewhere in Eastern Europe or Asia....

"And before that, according to the Bible, it belonged to other people. Should we give it back to them?"

More recently, it belong to the British. Who gave it to the modern state of Israel.

Just like they carved out a chunk of India and gave it to Indian Muslims.

Same thing.

#24-28. My point exactly. I never said the land should be handed to the Jews. "I was here first" has never been respected by history. The region has been conquered and occupied by different tribes, groups and empires. It has changed hands many, many times throughout history. Who justly "owns" the land? It is entirely dependent upon which date in history you choose.

Palestinians choose 1947 CE as the status quo, which is the weakest claim of all, because the Palestinians were not an organized or homogenous tribe or nation before 1947. They were Arabs, Syrians, Egyptians, Jordanians, Greeks and Persians who migrated to the area. They weren't the original inhabitants or the conquerors, and never had any recognized claim of sovereignty over the land.

Jews choose 1200 BC, when the Kingdom of Israel was documented and established a permanent physical presence (arguably making them the earliest "group" of settlers still in existence today). Jews also choose 1948 when the United Nations voted to establish Israel and Palestine as sovereign states on land Britain had controlled since Allied forces conquered the Ottoman Empire "fair and square" 39 years before.

So who should the land be given back to? The earliest settlers or the most recent conquerors? The Palestinians are neither. The Jews are essentially both.

Im NOT in favor of handing all the land over to Israel. A two state solution has always been the right thing to do.

How about a One State Solution?

Equal Rights under the Law for everyone living there?

No Apartheid, No Palestinian State.

One Israel with Palestinian Citizens treated as Equals.

Secular Democracy, Not Ethno-Supremacist Statelets at Each others Throats... Forever.
