More from the article...

... In its initial statement"amid reports early Friday of a failure to extend the truce and the resumption of hostilities"Netanyahu's office announced that the deal expired because Hamas "has not met its obligation to release all of the women hostages today and has launched rockets at Israeli citizens.

The statement emphasized Israel's commitment "to achieving the goals of the war: Releasing the hostages, eliminating Hamas and ensuring that Gaza never again constitutes a threat to the residents of Israel."

In its own statement released shortly afterward, however, Hamas argued that Israel "bears accountability" for reigniting the conflict, specifically by allegedly refusing offers to accept the bodies of three members of the kidnapped Bibas family along with one surviving member as part of a broader exchange "involving the handover of prisoners and elderly people."

We are witnessing the implosion of the American political structure as we know it. Within the next 4-10 years it will go supernova.

Conversely, the awakening Muslim universe is once again gravitating and coalescing around the Turkish model.

Empires rise and fall, history repeats itself, but when all is said and done, Muhammad's 1500 year old prediction somehow, despite the extraordinary odds against it, still holds true.

Apologies, but I have no idea which Muhamadan prediction you're referring to. Would you be so kind as to clue me in? Something about Islam conquering the world?

Be honest

When you see a post like #7 isn't there a little part of you that thinks the US deserves to be taken over by jihadists?

Religions are inherently conservative. They don't change with the times very much. I can not see where the solution to a problem is to go out and behead someone or bury them with only the head sticking up to stone them. Talk about barbaric...

people are inherently conservative in order to guard against disease from other tribes.

Religion helps with this fear.

"Religion helps with this fear."

That's why Orthodox Jews won't get blood transfusions from the blood bank.
Because religion overcomes their fear of disease from other tribes.

If you had gone to a Church that didn't suck you'd have seen people who didn't look alike and were just meeting get alone much better than if they had met most other locations.

During the Vietnam war, the right wing rallying cry was " my country, right or wrong".
Now it's Israel, right or wrong ".

It's really wierd that nobody is mentioning the terror attack on a Jerusalem bus stop that occurred during the cease fire. Hamas proudly took credit for it and proclaimed that would never stop killing Jews, anywhere they live and anywhere they go in the world. I guess that wasnt a violation of the cease fire as far as they are concerned?

Religions are inherently conservative.

They're also inherently misogynistic, repressive and fascist. They serve only the leaders of the religion at the detriment of everyone stupid enough to believe their line of --------.

Example...the all knowing and all loving murdering all the first borns in Egypt but only if they didn't mark their doors with blood.
