But Ocasio-Cortez saw AIPAC as one of the special interests whose influence she had run to diminish. And by that time, she was already on her way to being an online fundraising powerhouse, thanks to her grassroots appeal. Saikat Chakrabarti, who would become the lawmaker's chief of staff, likewise confirmed his memory of when Trent brought it up.

It's amazing how easily the word "terrorism" gets thrown around now. It basically gets used to describe any group of warriors who can't afford to organize into a legitimate military. If the Israelis didn't have billions worth of funding, weapons and other western support, they could pretty legitimately be classified as terrorists as well.
