Imagine how different the world would be if the electoral college and supreme court hadn't made bush the president instead of gore.

We'd be way ahead on climate protection, 7 trillion dollars richer due to no iraq war, our international credibility would still be intact, there wouldn't have been a wave of refugees fleeing from the mideast into europe causing fascism to rise again, rich people would have higher taxes and everyone else would have better lives.

"Imagine how different the world would be if "Al Gore had won his own home state. Or any of the swing states.

Gore lost. Get over it. You sound like the Trump losers who whined that 2020 was stolen.

Completely different situations.

But sure.

Right. We wouldnt want to learn any lessons from history would we?

We should forget it like goldfish and move on so we can make the same mistakes over and over.

Al Gore Calls Social Media Algorithms 'digital' AR-15s.

Ok, boomer.

Don't forget if Gore had been president in the summer of 2001 the terrorism threats would not have been ignored and there's a good chance the WTC would still be there. At worse maybe one plane rather than 4.

@#9 ... Stupid analogy. Al, do better. ...

Yeah.

The idiocy of the analogy destroyed his whole comment because the discussions I've seen on various sites appear to be about the analogy and not about the exploitive aspects of the algorithms.

The analogy is apt and even if you don't agree the subject matter should be of concern.

@#12 ... The analogy is apt ...

I have a different opinion.

How many children have been killed merely because they were in their classrooms trying to learn at school because of social media algorithms?

How many?

#13 Plenty of kids kill themselves over things social media thrives on.

@#14 ... Why should I pay labor rates for selling my home? ...

Point taken.

I had neglected to take into account the cyber bullying, etc.,because of the addiction to social medial caused by the algorithms. After spending some time reading through the results of a search, I have altered my view.

Thanks for the comment.

I no longer think Mr Gore was wrong.

Oops, copy 'n' paste still had an old buffer.

I was intending to quote-back, ... Plenty of kids kill themselves over things social media thrives on. ...
