Tucker is such a ------. Can we use ------ on here? Guess I'll find out:

According to right-wingers, this was the interview that was going to set the world on fire. "Break the Internet" is what I saw in post after post from MAGA. The greatest, most insightful interviewer in modern history was going to sit down in a penetrating and revealing tte--tte that was going to change the world. Free-thinking people all over the globe, who may have been skeptical before about the justness of Putin's cause in Ukraine, were finally going to see the light thanks to Tucker's ability to reveal the truth from the man himself.

But, oh. It was not to be. Instead, it was a magnificent, splendid, delicious disaster.

Vlad is rich... he probably paid Sucker quite a bit to embarrass himself like that.

Vlad laid claim to all of Ukraine. It's what MAGA exactly what they wanted to hear. When he lays claim to Moldova, they'll want to hear that too.

Yeah, but but Biden is old!

People can - and pretty much have to - keep both in mind at the same time, when both major parties don't give them other choices... and other eclectic "parties" for decades haven't been able to present real alternatives.

It's sad that, since 2016, both major parties' candidates best argument for getting elected is "but look at the other guy!"

"So there!" - indeed!

LOL!

How long, exactly, have you been able to vote?

Back to the topic . . . It appeared to me that Vladimir Putin has no use for traitors either.

So, bottom line, no Pulitzer for traitor Carlson.

Have you freakin seen the "other guy" and what he says and does? Have you listened to what he plans to do?

I'd definitely vote for the crap sandwich over that turd.

Is it somehow Biden's fault that Trump has been bailed out by Russians when no American bank would trust him with their money, apparently, Republicans think the Russian bankers are just generous with their money and don't think there are strings attached to the millions they loaned Trump.

Chomsky and Lesser Evil Voting

chomsky.info

In 2020 Glenn Greenwald came out saying that the parties were too much the same to claim that one was the lesser evil.

Not everyone agreed:

And today?

The gap has only gotten greater, mostly through Herr Drumpf's efforts.

Noam Chomsky...

Saul Alinsky's 13 "Rules for Radicals" - a classic variation on Niccolo Machiavelli' The Prince :

1. "Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have."
2. "Never go outside the expertise of your people."
3. "Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy."
4. "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules."
5. "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon."
6. "A good tactic is one your people enjoy."
7. "A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag."
8. "Keep the pressure on. Never let up."
9. "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself."
10. "The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition."
11. "If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive."
12. "The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative."
13. "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it."

Rule 12 (and many others) are missing, but Rule 13 has been in full swing for decades.

"Keep the pressure on. Never let up."

Indeed.

Throwing away any votes when they are necessary for the success of even a lesser evil is letting up.
