Ron Filipkowski: It is impossible for Donald Trump to sit by and enjoy a sporting event, or any event, without trying to make it about himself.

I hope that Swift does endorse Biden.

Then I hope that she gets Secret Service protection.

The Music Modernization Act was largely a response to the rise of digital streaming services. It was a result of the frustration by artists and music production companies with streaming services not paying out royalties. It had broad bipartisan support in Congress and several different component bills were combined into a single bill. The bill was not initiated by Trump, he never mentioned it his campaign in 2016, and it passed both the Senate and House unanimously. Yes, Trump signed it into law but had nothing else to do with it. Naturally, he claims all the credit for it.

The man is insane.

Interesting that Trump's comments here echo that of his good friend Kanye West, who Trump invited to be present at the signing of the Music Modernization Act. Kayne famously stormed the stage to interrupt one of Swift's Grammy speeches, then wrote in a song, "I made that ---- famous."

His "friends" are also insane.

What a sad, pathetic old man. Just like his supporters.

I think Trump is just flirting. The evidence is all pointing towards the idea that Melania has left him. He's thinking about wife #4 and he's hoping to catch Taylor's eye.

Did anyone think he would stop lying, even for a moment?

Imagine what the 202(5) inauguration speech will sound like. Now, consider this: whatever you were thinking, it will be more deranged and threatening than what you thought.

Taking credit for what other people do is what the GQP does best.

That's why they are holding rallies in their home states claiming credit for bills they VOTED AGAINST.

It's not their fault their voters are too stupid to know what they actually did.

I remember his 2017 inaugural fiction where he said "This american carnage stops now" and then did nothing as schools, walmarts, music festivals etc were shot up.

I dunno, Johnny. You have a good point, Ivanka is already married.

There are young people just coming onto voting age, who I suppose have grown accustomed to the nightmare that is Trump, and figure it is all reality show nonsense, so why vote at all?
That, of course, would be a big mistake, as he is not in it to serve them, he is in it to get power and domination. A country with a gangster in charge becomes Russia, a place where independent thinking and speech can get one tossed out a window.
