Nearly seven years after North Carolina repealed the "bathroom bill" that led to national headlines and economic boycotts, GOP gubernatorial race front runner Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson is bringing back the issue of bathroom requirements for transgender people. In campaign speeches in recent weeks, Robinson suggested that people who previously identified as male should be "arrested" if they go in a women's bathroom. Instead, he suggests they should "find a corner outside somewhere" to relieve themselves.

The sole mission of the GOP is to make people they don't like suffer.

End of story.

The point is the suffering. To make people feel like less than others.

I bet this f**kstick claims to be a chreeestian.

Some of us are old enough to remember when Black people were required to go "outside".

@#1 ... The sole mission of the GOP is to make people they don't like suffer. ...

There's that, but with this comment there is also the de-humanizing aspect of treating trans people like animals, not humans.

To be specific, by "this comment" I meant the one uttered by Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson and cited in the summary about ~going outside.~

North Carolina is pro public urination?!

No wonder Boaz feels so comfortable at home.

Republican imagine women's restrooms prevent men from raping women.

Because a person who would rape a woman wouldn't dare break the sanctity of the law by entering a woman's bathroom.

They're not monsters!

GOP gubernatorial race

Election time?

Time to break out the wedge issues to distract voters from real issue and get them knee jerking about nonsense.

Transgender rights and abortion are issue that won't effect the majority of the population. Ever.

But they're all politicians want to talk about. Because it's easier than talking about the fact the middle class is disappearing, we fund the mic but can't pay for national healthcare (we do pay for Israel's healthcare). We can't properly fund and run schools. But we have a prison system second to none. This country has fallen behind other first world nations. Our homeless is a byproduct of capitalism. We are a consumer nation. Uber is employing millions. We need change and progress or we'll die of stagnation.

Our presidential candidates are a million years old.

Where's the new blood?

We can't make America great again by look at the past.

We need a president whose policies lead to a better future.

And wedge issues like who gets to use the bathroom is nothing but a distraction for people like Boaz and BellRinger to sign away this country for.
