It's quite possible. Despite victory in Avdiivka Russia is truly hurting.

Russia declared a partial mobilisation of 300,000 personnel in late 2022

They believe NATO will join the war in Ukraine.

The average age of Ukrainian soldier is older than 40 as the country grapples with personnel problems

The average age of Russian soldiers in Ukraine is 20-25 years old.

"They believe NATO will join the war in Ukraine."

They can believe aliens are attacking. But they aren't.

NATO will not enter the war.

Not unless they are attacked.

Is Pooty pants planning on attacking NATO?

"The average age of Russian soldiers in Ukraine is 20-25 years old."

First that kind of info is not readily available. What is your source?

Regardless. It's sad that Putin is sending them to die. Experience in war keeps you alive.

"I get you don't like Russia, me either, but lets not lie about the situation."

You don't get it. I like Russians. Not their leaders. And while I may actually be wrong about something occasionally (it happens!) but I don't lie and I don't need to lie.

You should learn the difference.

We weren't talking about retirement age. We were talking about enlistment age. Which in America is 17-42.

"Russia's parliament on Tuesday extended the maximum age at which men can be mobilised to serve in the army by at least five years - in the case of the highest-ranking officers, up to the age of 70."

www.reuters.com

Even after you are retired and into your "golden years" you are not safe in Russia from being called up to serve. Even the Aztecs had more respect for their elders than Putin.
