One day after comparing the death of Russian President Vladimir Putin critic Alexei Navalny to himself, Donald Trump " once again " compared the Russian activist's death to the ongoing legal problems he's facing, according to The New York Times.

"It is a form of " Navalny. It is a form of communism or fascism," Trump replied when Fox News host Laura Ingraham asked the MAGA hopeful during a Tuesday Greenville, South Carolina town hall about how he'd pay the $400 million fine from his New York civil fraud case.

The four-times indicted MAGA hopeful also lauded Russia's military, according to the report, saying,

"You're really up against the war machine in Russia. Russia, what did they do? They defeated Hitler, they defeated Napoleon. Yeah, they're a war machine."

Trump also suggested that "what had happened to Mr. Navalny was happening 'in our country too,'" before saying his four indictments are all a result "of the fact that I am in politics."

.

Sooo... dozens of his hand picked Aides are testifying against him because he's in politics?

Well, that makes sense... to Trumpers.

Pretty much his worldview. Dude was born a billionaire waddling across home plate and all he does is lament about how he's persecuted.

Anyone else would be given nothing but grief by the blue-collar workers he calls his MAGAt base. But for him, they play along and feign admiration of their morbidly obese God-Emperor's invisible clothes.

"The former president, Trump, and other Republicans, refuse to hold Putin accountable for his death," Biden said in a video Tuesday.

"Instead, Trump said Navalny's death made him realize how bad America is."

Biden, who has blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin for Navalny's death, cited that Trump didn't mention Putin in his response and instead complained about prosecutors, judges and Democrats conspiring against him.

"We are a nation in decline, a failing nation," Trump said in a Truth Social post, after news broke of the Russian opposition leader's death, which was confirmed by his family over the weekend.

The president questioned him, asking: "Why does Trump always blame America?"

"Putin is responsible for Navalny's death. Why can't Trump just say that?" Biden said.

"Putin's responsible; we have to stand up to Putin," he added, calling on House Republicans to pass the Senate-passed legislation to provide the funding for Ukraine.

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) has rejected bringing the legislation up on the House floor, and the White House has used the House recess as a political weapon to batter Republicans for going on vacation without passing the funding for Ukraine.

The president, during a campaign reception in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening, again bashed Trump for his response to Navalny death.

"Trump fails to even condemn him. It's outrageous," he said to supporters.

The White House is set to release a major sanctions package against Russia on Friday after Navalny's death. It is expected to hold Russia accountable for what happened to the opposition leader, as well as add to the sanctions against Russia since the start of the war."
