In front of a Senate hearing Tuesday about the company's string of serious safety failures, Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun admitted that the company has retaliated against whistleblowers. "I know it happens," he said. Asked if he had ever spoken to one of the whistleblowers, Calhoun said, "I have not directly spoken to any families of whistleblowers."

There definitely should be laws in effect that provide mandatory protections for whistleblowers and mandatory punishment for politicians and corporate executives who squelch or punish them. We must protect all whistleblowers that expose illegal, unConstitutional activity including political and international ones such as Edward Snowden, Julian Assange and Joe Biden whistleblowers such as the IRS agents.

So I was with shockingly with you.

Snowden - He did what he did because of how other whistleblowers were treated. What I don't like is he gave the Chinese and Russians very important information.
Assange - He was just a Russian tool in the end but as a journalist he did nothing more wrong than the publishing of the Pentagon Papers.

Joe Biden whistleblowers such as IRS agents? You lost met there.

How about Trump whistleblowers like
Reality Winner?
Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson? Not even the whistleblower but the person reporting it.
Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman?
Etc

Here's a little blast from the past for you:

www.usatoday.com
"Trump's allies want to ID the whistleblower, who may learn the price of speaking out"

"A fevered push by President Trump and Republican loyalists to unmask the whistleblower who launched the impeachment inquiry has churned up fundamental questions about the complainant's legal protections, motives and safety.

In the past week, Trump has stepped up his assault on the anonymous federal employee, who disclosed a phone call in which Trump asked the Ukrainian president for a "favor" " to investigate political rival and former Vice President Joe Biden.

Thursday, Donald Trump Jr. tweeted about a person whom conservative websites have named as the whistleblower, a claim that has not been verified.

"It's a kill-the-messenger approach," said Jackie Garrick, founder of Whistleblowers of America, a volunteer support organization. "That's what retaliation is all about " character assassination.""
