"Picking on women"? You mean like denying them bodily autonomy? Plenty of Republicans here are proudly and aggressively picking on women. They are putting effing bounties on women!

Since President Vladimir Putin launched his invasion of Ukraine, attacks and harassment of Russians -- prominent or not -- have been blamed on Moscow's intelligence operatives across Europe and elsewhere.

"We just escaped Russia and had this illusion that we've escaped prison," said journalist Irina Dolinina, who works for the independent outlet Important Stories, based in the Czech capital of Prague.

So, I'm not the only one who noticed that.

What I have difficulty understanding is why does the Trump cult, who often talk about freedom, seem to want an occupant in the Oval Office who does not seem to be in favor of that freedom they crave?

Russia did change after communism failed but we faltered for just a second and didn't impose western style democracy on them and this is the thanks we get.
