In Korea, they love Trump because they didn't feel there were on the brink of nuclear annihilation when he was in office. Now, N Korea has moved combat troops to the border and the fear is that is Iran/Israel trade serious bombs, N Korea will invade and overrun Seoul within a few hours as it is too close to the border.

For Taiwan, it is the same as Korea. They support whichever party they think will protect them better from China. Recently, they have also become very concerned about the everything GAY coming out of the US as they are a more traditional society.

In Philippines, it is still dominated by religion and their positive experience with Duterte. The realize a completely dysfunctional country sometimes needs a strongman to bring real change. Also, due to abortion and everything GAY, they cannot support the Democrats.

Well, that is my take from actually living in East and Southeast Asia for the last 12 years. Out of all the sports, I do find basketball to be thoroughly the worst of the big sports in the US. In truth, I would be more likely to turn watch a Caitlin Clark WNBA game vs. a NBA game. Non-Caitlin Clark, I have zero interest. And it is not that I dislike women's sports. I will watch women's soccer over NBA any day of the week. It is just that basketball + women (- Caitlin Clark) is a horrible product being forced on a viewing audience.
