I have heard of the book but don't have a desire to read it. My assumption is that it is an attempt to normalize the changing Western culture and sexual roles within a family. I don't believe these changes are healthy for society and the rise in mental illness - specifically with liberal leaning young women - is a testament to their destructiveness. If you can assure me that it is not about that, I may take your recommendation and read it. I prefer to read about history - specifically ancient civilizations anthropology.

First, it was not the loan companies. Second, it cannot change because the Democrat's sole economic plan is to push more and more people into college to become 'educated' despite the costs being way too high and the number of jobs requiring the skills shrinking, and for some majors, non-existent to begin with.

The reality is that the US cannot now, nor ever will be capable of having 70-80% of our workforce 4-year college "educated" - the jobs don't exist to support them and 70-80% of Americans is double or more the amount of Americans with the ability and desire to attend college. So, the only way to get there is the dumbing down of college that we see now - which is why a college degree is no longer respected.

However, good luck with the Democrats admitting that as they have chased out manufacturing, mining, and oil extraction - which is where employment with living wages could actually grow. Also, throws a wrench into the need for illegals "only doing jobs Americans won't" as that only flies when you think every American is elite college material.
