Systemic racism is a canard.
It's WAY over-blown.
If you are incapable of acknowledging the tremendous progress made over the course of the last 6 decades then you are hopeless.
Yeah - I recognize the disproportionate sentencing guidelines for cocaine possession vs crack possession.
Yeah - I recognize the draconian sentencing guidelines for minor drug offenses that hit blacks more than other demographics.
I am not suggesting that these arbitrary laws and guidelines produce neutral outcomes.
Having said that, we have made tremendous progress over the past 6 decades and if someone like Corky, who just overcame Down's Syndrome, can acknowledge that reality, in context, then you certainly should be able to do so.
Further - you seem laser-focused on some archaic drug sentencing laws dating back to the Clinton era, without even recognizing that the current racialist movement has turned the MLK vision of - let's not judge each other on the color of our skin but of the content of our character.
Do you have any idea how pervasive 'Critical Race Theory' has become?
Young white kids are being taught to hate themselves and think of themselves as irredeemable racists simply because of their skin color, which they have no control over.
That is some ------ up repugnant ----.
