House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has been accused of using campaign money to pay his rent. The use of campaign funds for personal expenses is strictly prohibited under campaign finance law. Complaint letters were sent to both the Office of Congressional Conduct (OCC) and the FEC. Johnson is currently residing at the residence of his Republican colleague, oligarch multimillionaire Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), the second wealthiest member of congress. Johnson, who has claimed that he doesn't have a personal checking account, has faced questions about his finances in the past. FEC Complaint: Hypocrite. Mike Johnson Financial Disclosure Form: No checking account?
Speaker Mike Johnson recently visited an illegal settlement in Israel, a "vacation" that was most likely paid for by the hardworking American taxpayer under the guise of an official CODEL visit.
