Republican Gets Drubbed in Iowa Election

Iowa Democrat Catelin Drey won a major upset on Tuesday night, flipping a deep-red seat in the state Senate and breaking the GOP's supermajority in the chamber. Drey defeated Republican Christopher Prosch by a wide 55-45 margin in a district Donald Trump carried by 11 points last year. It's the second conservative district that Iowa Republicans have lost in the legislature this year, and the results will further buoy Democratic hopes for similar victories in contests for governor and the U.S. Senate in 2026.

No wonder the disgusting orange rapist is so hell-bent on gerrymandering in red state cesspools.

Texas is now regretting the decision to screw with the maps.

By drawing up five districts they think they can win, they created eleven districts they can lose.

Democrats should focus a lot more on red leaning states like Iowa. Farmers are an easy target, and Democrats actually have a good record of supporting farmers. Despite what c()ntservatives have to say about it.

Soybean farmers have exported over one billion bushels of soybeans to China every year going back to, wait for it..., the last time Trump was in office.

Farmers are losing around a thousand dollars an acre. Farms in North Dakota can cover thousands of acres, so the loss is in the millions. Per farm.

The solution will have to be government welfare. Farmers will take it, but they'd rather farm and sell their produce.

Give them solid solutions to improve their situation, which is easy because all that has to be promised is going back to how it was before Trump.

The Dem old farts to need retire, and progressives need to let Democrats in red states run their campaigns without worrying about if they're progressive enough. If some Dems in the Midwest or Plains are anti-abortion or religious or like guns, deal with it and STFU.

It is so easy right now to explain the poor situation we're in and provide simple solutions without even mentioning Trump's name. And, FFS, stop lecturing people.

This is the way for Dems to beat MAGA. In the trenches.

Bernie knows this.
