Trumpf Junta Defies Federal Court Rulings on AUSAs

After two separate federal courts ruled that Alina Habba and Lindsey Halligan were unequivocally disqualified from their positions at the Justice Department, the self-serving Trumpf junta continues describing the two attractive ambulance chasers as AUSAs on official government websites.

Since seizing power on 20 Jan 2025, Dummkopf Trumpf has placed loyalists at the helm of key US attorney's offices across the country, part of his wider effort to refashion the DOJ into his personal law firm. The DOJ's failure to acknowledge court rulings against Alina Habba and Lindsey Halligan, who had no prosecutorial experience when they were first illegally appointed, fits into a broader pattern: the Trumpf junta's utter disregard for judicial authority in the US and the world. Trumpf has defied the ICC over alleged war criminals Benjamin Netanyahu and Vladimir Putin; in the UK the Dotard-in-Chief has yet to pay Christopher Steele, author of the infamous Russia dossier, who successfully sued him and won.

Mouth-for-hire Alina Habba's central blasphemy is supporting a fascist regime that persecutes migrants when her own parents were migrants that escaped persecution in Iraq. Sheister Lindsey Halligan's sin might be her ever-so slight resemblance to someone in Dummkopf Trumpf's first Reign of Terror, the attractive Hope Hicks.

... President Donald Trump's former personal attorney, Alina Habba, said Monday she is resigning as the top federal prosecutor for New Jersey, giving up her fight to stay in the job after an appeals court said she had been serving in the post unlawfully.

In a statement posted on social media, Habba assailed the court's ruling as political, but said she was resigning "to protect the stability and integrity" of her office.

"But do not mistake compliance for surrender," she said, adding that the administration would continue its appeal. "This decision will not weaken the Justice Department and it will not weaken me."

Habba said she would remain with the Justice Department as a senior advisor to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi. ...
