Mother Jones Sues the Bureau of Prisons for Ghislaine Maxwell Records

Mother Jones seeks to uncover why the Trump administration would move Jeffrey Epstein's procurer to a cushy prison in Texas after an odd meeting with the DOJ's Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. Blanche, who had previously worked as Trump's personal criminal attorney, never fully explained this unprecedented meeting with a convicted sexual offender. There was also no explanation offered to why Ghislaine Maxwell was moved to a much nicer minimum-security prison, where she remains today.

I suspect Mother Jones is in for a long wait. Anything to do with the Epstein files is on the slow lane, law or no law. Even if the law is met, I'd be willing to say there are files that will not be exposed to the light of day for reasons other than protecting the victims. If the administration was serious about the release of these files, it would long ago have been done.

This is Turnip pulling strings in the background where he's not seen to be doing it, preventing the release. There is a reason he put in to place syncopaths with loyalty as the first requirement over competence. It will take putting Bondi under charges for breaking the law in addition to personal fines, to get any serious results. Even then, Turnip's henchmen are expected to fall on their swords for him. No such loyalty is returned from Turnip.
