The FDA website reports there are at least 13 recalls, market withdrawals, and safety alerts for food or drugs in the very first two weeks of the new year, averaging about one a day during the Trump administration.

NBC News has re-iterated a November 2025 food recall for 20 states involving the New Jersey-based Ambriola Company whose cheese products are most probably tainted with listeria.
Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes deadly infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.

Many Americans are forgoing health insurance this year because ACA subsidies have expired and the premiums are prohibitively high. Every resident of America that falls sick to food poisoning, visits an emergency room, is wounded by a firearm, is hospitalized because of a disease transmitted by an unvaccinated person, driven by ambulance to a hospital for a broken arm or leg, or develops cancer from being exposed to chemicals, pesticides, or radiation, is pure profit to be made in the insidious US privatized health care system which bankrupts roughly 530,000 people in the country every year.
