The UK Health Security Agency recorded 137 cases of shigella between Oct and Dec 2025, with a staggering 80% of cases being patients who recently returned from Cape Verde.

The outbreak has led the UK Foreign Office to warn tourists about the risks of travelling to the holiday hotspot. A shigella outbreak struck the island in 2022. The most common ways people get sick are from eating or drinking contaminated food or water and contact with someone infected with Shigella. Shigella can also be spread during sexual activity with a sick person and can cause sepsis and organ failure.

Immediately after seizing power on 20 Jan 2025, Dummkopf Trumpf idiotically withdrew the US from the World Health Organization (WHO) and then he callously dismantled USAID which used to assist in combatting diseases like shigella or cholera in the Third World.

The WHO reacts to Dummkopf Trumpf and America's idiotic withdrawal from this important UN organization.

WHO also informs that there is a low risk of Nipah virus spreading beyond India.

low risk of Nipah virus spreading beyond India.

Uh huh. Sure.

I am old enough to remember this gem from five years ago:

And in the warm weather it will just go away like a miracle.
