Hugh Dougherty: It does not take a security expert to unravel the layers of failure that happened at a Washington, D.C. hotel on Saturday night. How on earth could someone with a disassembled long gun check into a room at a hotel where the president was going to speak? I can answer that: Nobody even looked at my luggage on Friday afternoon. ... No magnometers, no hand checks, no I.D. checks. Nothing.
How on earth could that person get downstairs and assemble a long gun? I can answer that too. I moved up and down from Floor 10 all day.
The statistical probability of this happening in such great numbers is so low...that winning the lottery twice in a row is more statistically likely.

This just shows you how silly your thought process is. You hide behind "statistics", whats important is not statistics, but trendlines.
Here is the trend line of Leftist Violent Radicalization.
Safe Spaces 2010-2015 - Disagreement was reframed as harm and individuals were offered protection.
Cancel Culture 2015-2020 - Ruin the lives of anyone with "harmful" ideas.
Censorship 2020-2022 - People with "dangerous" and "harmful" opinions or "misinformation" were systematically silenced.
Structural Exile 2022-2024 - Frozen bank accounts. Jailed for social media posts. Credentials erased from professional life.
Direct violence normalized 2024-Today - After the Brian Thompson assassination, young leftist fully accept that death is acceptable.
Next up collective attacks.
I have been on this site for a few of these, I bet if you go through the timeline of this site you can see the transition of leftist violent radicalization.
You're a fool to think this described in the statistics of percentages. Today while most Americans say it's unacceptable to be happy about public figures' deaths, but younger and more liberal Americans are more likely to call it acceptable.

This site declares day to day the acceptance of political violence, in fact watching this site is a good indicator of where Leftist are going, and its not civil discourse or Democracy.
"Claiming anything America is doing is anywhere near what the German NAZI's were doing is dishonest."
There's a deep level of dishonesty here all right.
The dishonesty is pretending the Nazis didn't learn this stuff from the Untied States.
The German NAZIs learned how to do this... by modeling their laws after the United States.
How the Nazis Were Inspired by Jim Crow
To craft legal discrimination, the Third Reich studied the United States.
www.history.com
In 1935, Nazi Germany passed two radically discriminatory pieces of legislation inspired by American laws: the Reich Citizenship Law and the Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honor. Together, these were known as the Nuremberg Laws, and they laid the legal groundwork for the persecution of Jewish people during the Holocaust and World War II.
When the Nazis set out to legally disenfranchise and discriminate against Jewish citizens, they weren't just coming up with ideas out of thin air. They closely studied the laws of another country. According to James Q. Whitman, author of Hitler's American Model, that country was the United States.
"America in the early 20th century was the leading racist jurisdiction in the world," says Whitman, who is a professor at Yale Law School. "Nazi lawyers, as a result, were interested in, looked very closely at, [and] were ultimately influenced by American race law."
#177 Eberly says, "I'm ending these conversations. ... see? This how you end a conversation."
Interestingly enough, Corky and JPW have a vote here, as well.
Now, you might not respond.
But that doesn't mean that their end of the conversation must end.
Sort of like how Iran has a vote as to when the Strait of Hormuz is opened...
... or that the don't-you-dare-call-it-a-clusterf*ck-of-a-war has ended.
They get a vote, too!
