In addition, several EU countries don't want Israel participating in Eurovision competitions and have threatened a boycott for the same reasons.

How Russia is correctly sanctioned from UEFA and Eurovision, but Israel is not is anyone's guess. Both countries have killed thousands and thousands and thousands of people.
