Iceland Wants to Boost Food Production, Curb Bit Miners

The exploding demand for cheap power means Iceland has become a global hub for Bitcoin mining, and that's something Iceland's Prime Minister Katrn Jakobsdttir is not happy with.

Need grain? Eastern Europe is awash in it. You can almost certainly buy it for less than what you would lose if you tried to convert energy into crops in Iceland.
