Bankruptcy-Prone Felon Wastes $1 Billion On Houthis

President Donald Trump's fight against the Houthis never dealt a crippling blow to the militant group, but it has cost America more than $1 billion since March, including the thousands of bombs and missiles used in strikes, along with seven drones shot down and two fighter jets that sank, according to two U.S. officials briefed on the cost.

After weeks of operations by the U.S., the Houthis seemed to still be able to strike outside Yemen, launching an attack that targeted Israel's main international airport just this week.

Another expensive failure for the demented orange pedo.

How is the putrid orange nonce going to win a Nobel Peace Prize with that track record?

Wasn't Trump's whole thing that he wasn't going to start foreign military interventions?

What happened to that?

I bet if you gave them 500 million cash they would have stopped. Bombs make more sense in our world. Do they have to? Are we cavemen?

#4: BRENNN: Excellent point which has some merit. Years ago Italian forces in Afghanistan (ISAF) paid local insurgents not to attack them in their Area of Operation (AO). When the French rotated in that area, the bribes stopped and the attacks re-started, killing and wounding several French soldiers. When Japanese and South Korean soldiers served in Iraq (MNFI), they didn't, ahem, "bribe" the locals; however, they funded millions of dollars for "projects" in their AO and Japan donated thousands of vehicles for the Iraqi police forces. I don't recall any casualties from their contingents in Iraq other than maybe vehicular accidents or food poisoning.

Unfortunately, the Likud junta in Israel sees Iran and their Shia Houthi allies as existential threats, as does the Sunni Saudi leadership. Uh-huh. And so we bomb the Arabs when bribing them makes more sense. Note that Muhammad Bib Salman (MBS) requested that Trumpf halt the bombardment in Yemen until after they conclude their imminent summit in Saudi Arabia.

PS: On 14 or 15 March, Trumpf stared at a computer screen showing the Houthis getting bombed, calling them "savages."

#4: I found an archived citation about the Italian secret service bribing the Taliban to not attack their forces in Afghanistan: web.archive.org

So a terror group is attacking our ships and counter attacking is deemed "waste". Yet funneling more than 100 times that amount to a non NATO ally so we can fight a proxy war with a nuclear power is somehow NOT waste? Make it make sense.
