Dotard Trumpf's Executive Order Strengthening and Unleashing America's Law Enforcement to Pursue Criminals and Protect Innocent Citizens gives sweeping new powers to local police forces, eliminates previous reforms, and punishes cities that refuse to cooperate with the junta. Under the facade of "law and order," this ukase shields law enforcement from accountability, expands their access to military weaponry, and treats organized dissent as a national security threat. Excerpt from the EO:
The SECDEF, in coordination with the USAG, shall determine how military and national security assets, training, non-lethal capabilities, and personnel can most effectively be utilized to prevent crime. The USAG will seek ways to strengthen and expand legal protections for law enforcement officers and seek enhanced sentences for crimes against police officers.
We have already seen ICE and DHS detaining and deporting pro-Palestinian volunteers, migrants, and other undesirables. This EO will now empower local police forces to act with more impunity against the masses (as if many of them don't already) while further militarizing them. That smell you detect is the smoke coming from the US Constitution going up in flames.
