Israel Gaza Update 9 Sep

Two young Palestinian men from the West Bank opened fire on Israelis at a traffic intersection in Jerusalem in retaliation for the Gaza Nakba. Six Israelis were killed, 12 injured. Both assailants had no prior police records and were killed. ICC-indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu automatically blamed Hamas and deployed a punitive force to their West Bank village.

A measles-infected passenger flew from NYC to Israel, possibly spreading the highly contagious virus to hundreds. Anti-Vaxxers continue to menace society.

Undersea cables were cut in the Red Sea, disrupting internet access in parts of the Middle East. Unclear is what caused the incident. Some suspect Yemen's Houthis may be responsible to pressure Israel to stop the genocide in Gaza. The Houthis have denied attacking the lines in the past.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper in London while Spain withdrew its Ambassador from Israel. AIPAC will be furious.

Just today, 59 Palestinians were killed in IDF airstrikes in Gaza. The IDF continued to demolish homes and buildings using explosives-laden robots in the vicinity of the Sheikh Radwan water reservoir. Drones dropped explosive bombs on the rooftops of civilian homes. Since 7 Oct 2023, Israel has been ethnically cleansing Gaza and the death toll is now 64,522, the majority of whom are children and women; 163,096 others and have been maimed or injured. In 2024 the NYT reported that the IDF has created both an army of amputees and orphans in the Gaza Strip, unparalleled in human history. Israel's Supreme Court ruled that Palestinians in IDF custody are given insufficient food. The hardworking, peace-loving American taxpayer is sick and tired of Israeli brutality. An international arrest warrant issued by the ICC for war crimes remains active for Benjamin Netanyahu. An indictment is merely an allegation.
