"Jaclyn Dell operated a transformation center' purporting to provide counseling and assistance to individuals recovering from drug addiction.

Investigators determined that under the guise of counseling and assistance for people recovering from drug addiction, the Dells coordinated a long-running, multi-million-dollar retail theft scheme targeting The Home Depot.

Co-conspirators Jessica Wild and Daniel Mace stole power tools from The Home Depot locations across Citrus, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and Sarasota counties. The stolen merchandise was delivered nightly to the Dells' house and then sold online. The scheme generated over $2m in illegal proceeds from 2015-2023.

Robert Dell faces up to 150 years and Jaclyn Dell faces up to 30 years in prison.

Sentencing is set for 13 Mar 2025 in Pinellas County, Florida."

#1 Thank you, Coriolanus ...

... and bravo for posting this.

As an aside, how many people were lured to the Drudge Retort when delving into the whole Terri Schiavo Case, thinking they were going to the Drudge Report, instead of the Drudge Retort...

...back in 2005?

Oh, this ain't good.

A. Friend

I couldn't say about that.

A few years ago a rightwing blogger apparently came upon drudge.com by mistake instead of the Drudge Report.

Methinks after learning of his error, he stayed on to become a troll.

The other drudge.com veterans may know more about this than me.

#4 An astute observation (...he stayed on to become a troll.), Coriolanus.

'Tis obvious to all except to the oblivious perps.

But I repeat myself.

#4 Regardless, you're an excellent addition to the dialog here.

Thank you, Coriolanus.

I worked at a resort in the mountains during a college summer. It was infested with college evangelicals who attended The Rock. I went to a few of the services and witnessed the mindlessness, and the hatred of gay people

Wow.

Besides being homophobic, were they antisemitic?

The Rock Church referenced in the report is in St Petersburg, FL and is now closed: www.google.com

Is this the same one the evangelicals attended?

They were spread across multiple campuses: Missouri, Florida, Texas, Ball State in Indiana. Friendly enough but then the mindlessness and later the hatred when they asked a guest preacher to preach anti-homesexuality twice. Some of them asked me how I felt and I told them that those pages of the Bible they selectively interpret to hate people would be of better use to wipe their asses

Hah! Good shot!

Resistance guerillas fighting American forces in Pashtunistan or Russian spies trying to learn our secrets I can understand.

Soul-mongering, homophobia, and phony Christianity in the US is something I can't wrap my head around.
