Jewish groups condemned Israeli cabinet ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Amichay Eliyahu for marching in the NYC Israel Day parade. In 2021, Smotrich said that Israel's first prime minister, David Ben-Gurion, should have "finished the job" and kicked all Arabs out of the country in 1948. Eliyahu had suggested that Israel drop a nuclear bomb on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

While I don't agree with the headline, there's this ...
Brooklyn, the Most Jewish Spot on Earth (2018)
www.hadassahmagazine.org
... By any measure, Brooklyn is the most Jewish place in America. Approximately 600,000 Jews now call the borough home, down from an incredible 900,000 in the 1940s. One in four Brooklyn residents is Jewish, the largest proportion by far among New York City's five boroughs, according to the most recent survey by the UJA-Federation of New York.
"There are more Jews right now in Brooklyn than anywhere else in the world, including the city of Tel Aviv," said Ron Schweiger, the borough's official historian, whose Flatlands home is a shrine to the long-vanished Brooklyn Dodgers (the team moved to Los Angeles in 1957). ...
@#14 ... And NYC has some of the best teachers in the world, thanks to that large Jewish population. ...
While I do agree about the quality of some of the NYC teachers, I remain reluctant to ascribe that quality to being Jewish.
OK, I attended one of NYC's specialized high schools, as I have noted here a number of times previously.

I did not notice a large percentage of Jewish teachers there.
Of course, I have to add, that I was not looking at the religion of the teachers. I did not care back then, and do not care now, about the religious affiliation of a person (or skin color, for that matter).
So, who am I to know?
