Michelle Obama better reconsider before that convention starts or the Dems are dead meat.

Can we stop pretending there is a "quiet part" to anything the American right is doing anymore? The galling openness with which they commit their misdeeds is part of why it works.

To elaborate - by saying and doing things right out in the open that would traditionally have been considered disqualifying, the window of behaviors that are deemed normal and acceptable shifts and/or expands. Along with it, the window of behaviors that are worthy of concealment narrows. But it would seem that these shifts only apply as to the bad actors themselves, while the people who condemn these behaviors continue to be judged by the old standards.

So what? Do we defend a two party system? If Biden is so good he will win. I Trump is so good (hurts me to type that) he will win. ETC.

I think we need a parliamentary system honestly. But since we do have a defacto 2 party system. This is a "valid" Strategy to use a dummy/stooge/whatever to run that is likely to drain voters from a particular candidate and not the other and therefore cause a loss for the other candidate - especially in key states were a disproportionately small number of voters will impact who is actually elected. I don't know how anyone that would vote for a Democrat would ever vote for this knucklehead but look at 2016.

I will not actually defend a 2 party system but don't be obtuse either. One or the other will win. Pick your poison and ignore the fringe. I almost said Lunatic Fringe but there are way too many Trump voters for them to be fringe - more like cringe.

BTW we almost have a parliamentary system with the way the house is running.

"I think we need a parliamentary system honestly."

Shocking how a bunch of genocidal slave holders would build a country where there's no need for a dialogue as part of political process.
