George Santos Ends Congressional Bid

Former New York Rep. George Santos, who was expelled from the House and is facing federal charges, said he is withdrawing his bid for Congress in New York's 1st District.

Santos has pleaded not guilty to 23 federal charges, including allegations of fraud related to Covid-19 unemployment benefits, misusing campaign funds and lying about his personal finances on House disclosure reports.

Or at least he never reported that he received any campaign contributions. Who knows? He's lied about stuff like this in the past, what's to prevent him from doing so again?

Santos is too much an egomaniac to hide the fact that raising a million dollar from his new district was proof positive that he was right all along and Congress was wrong to kick him out.
